Herding The Ox
According to the ancient Chinese calender, that is popular all over Asia, 2009 is the year of the ox. This calm and trustworthy animal is a symbol of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. The gorgeous and green Adrian Grenier, of HBO’s Entourage and Planet Green’s Alter Eco, hosted the third annual ball for Charity Water at NYC’s Metropolitan Pavilion earlier this month. More than 1,200 guests–including celeb Matthew Modine and eco-model Summer Rayne Oakes–attended the fundraiser, which raised $400,000 for the construction of wells and sanitation projects in Africa

The Hostel With Wings Going Nowhere Soon

We wrote earlier about the creative recycling of a 747 into a hostel at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
