Initially, the Tokyo International Film Festival passed on screening The Cove, the documentary about the annual slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan. It looks like things are still going better this year than in years past for dolphins swimming near Taiji, Japan. The latest word is that earlier this week, 70 of the 100 dolphins gathered in a recent roundup were released.
